In wastewater treatment and sludge dewatering, usually we are required to prepare and dose flocculant solution into water and slurry by a certain proportion for flocculation reaction and sludge thickening. Wastewater treatment process and dosing operation are both continuous, thus requiring a multi-functional dosing system which can prepare and dose chemical solution continuously in certain concentration. Series ZRY is a full-automatic chemical preparation and dosing machine, which can control both the water feeding flow rate and powder feeding quantity, to ensure your expected chemical concentration.

This automatic chemical dosing machine is designed to prepare liquid flocculant solution by using water and powder chemicals, for example to prepare and dose PAM solution. Before operation, the powder feeding quantity and the feeding water flow should be calibrated manually according to the different kinds of flocculant and coagulant for using.

The powder feeding quantity is precisely controlled through the rotation number of the screw by manually adjusting the VFD (Variable-frequency Drive). The feeding water flow is controlled by manually adjust the water-inlet valve by watching the rotameter. After calibration, then the operator only needs to add flocculant or coagulant into the feeding hopper, then the subsequent process will be automatic.

The flocculant or coagulant powder is firstly sent into a pre-mixer by a built-in mini screw conveyor to pre-mix with water. Then pre-mixed powder is delivered to "Chemical Preparation Chamber" and is diluted and mixed there in required concentration.

Diluted solution then enters into "Chemical Digestion Chamber" for digestion. After digestion, the prepared chemical solution is ready to use and is finally stored in "Ready Solution Storage Chamber". Using a dosing pump to deliver the ready chemical solution to the dosing point.

Agitators are installed in the "Chemical Preparation Chamber" and "Chemical Digestion Chamber", to guarantee the dilution and digestion performance. Automatic control system is connected with liquid level switch in "Ready Solution Storage Tank". When liquid level exceeds limited height, preparation process will stop automatically, and when liquid level goes down back to pre-set height, preparing process will automatically start again.
